An Aide to Catechist assists the catechist with classroom activities.
Nursery is caring for children ages 1 1/2 years thru 4 years during the 10:00 AM Mass.
Liturgy of the Word for Children leads the study of scripture readings for children in grades K-3 during the 10:00 AM Mass.
Vacation Bible School volunteers assist as a Coordinator, Co-Coordinator, Team Member, or Volunteer. The committee volunteers help select the program, materials, register students, and organize volunteers.
RCIA - Adults People who are entering the church through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Assist as Sponsors, Hospitality, & Support.
Evangelization - Adult Formation Facilitate various Discipleship programs. Set-up, clean-up, & oversight of the event; Design, Plan & Execute core programming/calendars.
Men's Scripture Study - Saturdays 8:00 AM Men of Faith, committed to prayer & fellowship based on Scripture study. Open to all men. Bi-weekly meetings.
Call Ministry serves to connect registered parishioners more firmly to the parish family with an outcome-focused on care, encouragement, and prayer by capturing & understanding their thoughts and needs.
Information Technology - Experienced help in assisting in various support roles such as Tech set-up: for the classroom, gym, or conference areas; Livestream cameraperson; website maintenance; 3rd party App support; remote support of graphics or presentation materials; onsite event support.
Vocation Committee - supply information about a variety of vocations to parishioners.
Stewardship Commission members coordinate the process for encouraging parishioners to share their time & talent in support of parish ministries & activities.
Development Committee assists with annual CSA Appeal, April--May.
Education & Formation prepare bulletin articles & notices of stewardship.
Gifts & Talents Committee plan & execute time & talent commitments.
Communications/Marketing assist in disseminating parish information using various platforms as directed by the pastor and staff.
Garden Ministry help with the Parish Clean-up day in the spring and fall, and general clean-up of the grounds.
Christian Service Commission Members promote Catholic Social Teaching to the parish community.
Advent Sharing Tree organizes, sorts, and delivers Christmas gifts to various organizations.
Angel Meal Train provides meals to families going through significant life events.
Bingo Ministry helps with monthly Bingo at the convalescent center.
Disability Concerns advocate for the full inclusion of persons with disabilities in the life of the parish and assist with outreach events.
Eucharistic Minister to the Homebound takes the Eucharist, visits & prays with the homebound parishioners.
Food Basket Ministry help collect, organize & distribute food.
Health Advocacy & Parish Nurses provide health care information & support to make the parish sensitive to legislative health concerns; assist with blood drives, health screenings & the Capernaum Health Clinic.
Jail & Outreach Ministry help with Christmas collection
Legislative Concerns collect and disseminate information on legislative issues about Catholic Social Teaching.
Life Issues address life issues and the dignity of human life.
