The Call Ministry Team (CMT) Mission
This group of volunteers reaches out to our parishioners, through periodic phone calls, to help them feel connected to their “Parish Family.”
As volunteers talk with parishioners, we try to be a listening ear, a caring heart, a word of encouragement and help answer questions as they arise. If desired, prayer requests are also forwarded to the Prayer Ministry Team.
As we talk with someone, we never know what we will hear or why God wants it to be shared with us. We do know, however, that we are making an impact by trying to bring a bit of joy to those in our parish community since our parish cares.

What Does a Call Minister Do?

You connect with 30 parishioners/families within 30 days with a phone call or a text.

Since families are assigned to you along with a script, you identify how a family is doing and if the parish can help them in any way. You may also offer to pray with the individual if they would like you to, or capture their prayer intention to be offered at Mass.

Keep a record of the calls made, who you have talked with, a prayer intention, etc.

You may sign up for another 30 days at any time.

Realize you may represent the only touchpoint in our diverse members of our parish family.

The Call Ministry Administrator (CMA) handles oversight, trains you and answers your questions.
Information and/or training sessions occur as needed - please look for upcoming sessions in the parish events or contact the CMA volunteer. The CMA also reports outcomes with the Director of Evangelization and Director of Christian Service for appropriate follow-up.
